ABR Announces New Trustees

Congratulations to Sherwin Chan, MD, PhD, one of seven new appointees to the American Board of Radiology's Board of Trustees (ABR BOT). Dr. Chan's term on the ABR BOT commenced on March 1, 2025, and he will represent Diagnostic Radiology (Pediatric Radiology).

This past fall, the SPR was one of many organizations invited to assist the ABR in identifying candidates for the Diagnostic Radiology (Pediatric Radiology) position. The SPR Board of Directors thanks all members who stood for consideration. Each candidate brought remarkable strengths and unique perspectives, making it a particularly challenging decision for the board. After careful consideration, Dr. Chan was one of the Society's three candidates put forward, with the final appointment at the ABR's discretion. The SPR looks forward to supporting Dr. Chan during his term.
